How It All Began
Cache Valley Kids Market began with one young entrepreneur’s simple idea: to share homemade creations with others. In 2021, that idea took shape when the child presented his vision to the Hyrum City Council, proposing a place where kids could showcase their talents. The council embraced the idea, approving a small summer pop-up market in Hyrum, Utah — a space where creativity and community could come together.
Growth and Expansion
What started as a single summer event quickly grew into something much bigger. By 2023, more than 20 young vendors were setting up shop each weekend, learning hands-on skills in marketing, customer service, and product development.
In 2024, the market rebranded as Cache Valley Kids Market, marking an exciting new chapter. That same year, it became a registered non-profit, opening doors to new partnerships with local businesses and organizations. With their support, the market expanded to a second summer location and began offering even more opportunities for kids across Cache Valley.

At Cache Valley Kids Market, our mission is to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing a dynamic, fun, and safe environment where kids can produce, market, and sell their goods and services.
We’re dedicated to fostering creativity, innovation, confidence, work ethic, and business know-how among young minds. We believe every child has unique talents and ideas worth sharing and we’re here to help them shine.
By offering a free space to experiment and learn, we encourage kids to take risks, test ideas, and grow from both their successes and challenges.
Year-Round Impact
Beyond our summer markets, we provide free workshops throughout the year to help young entrepreneurs build essential business skills. Sessions on product development, marketing, financial literacy, and customer service equip kids with knowledge that extends far beyond the marketplace.
These experiences prepare children not only to run a business but to approach life with confidence, creativity, and resilience.
